Summary
- VMware vSphere (ESXi) 5.1 U3 is an update release from VMware to VMware vSphere 5.1 branch. This release primarily includes bug fixes and security updates from VMware. Please refer to the VMware release notes that describes the updates and fixes in this release.
- All the Dell hardware (PowerEdge Servers, Storage and Peripherals) certified for previous 5.X release would be listed as supported for VMware vSphere 5.1 U3.
- Dell declared support for this release along with VMware GA ( General Availability ) which is 11th December 2014. The updated Dell customized VMware vSphere image for 5.1 U3 is posted at support.dell.com only and this release would not be offered from factory ( No Factory Install ).
